Luxury restaurant “Comedor de Aguiar”

Widely regarded as the most elegant and exclusive restaurant in the city, it offers an outstanding selection of national and international cuisine, complemented by an extensive and carefully curated wine list. Restaurant “La Barraca”

Our recently renovated restaurant, La Barraca, is located in the courtyard, is fully air-conditioned, and offers spectacular views of the gardens and the sea. It features a selection of traditional Cuban dishes, along with a complete menu of beverages and cocktails.
An ideal setting to enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner with friends, family, or colleagues, La Barraca combines a welcoming atmosphere with memorable experiences. Guests can enjoy live show cooking, perfect for culinary enthusiasts, as well as Cuban music, creating a special ambiance to share with loved ones.
The restaurant also features a spacious terrace, where some of Havana’s finest cocktails are served. In addition, its grill service allows guests to savor delicious barbecued specialties while enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.

Rooftop Bar “Capablanca”

Named after the famous Cuban world chess champion José Raul Capablanca, this brand new rooftop bar offers some of the best views in Havana. The bar is stocked with the most of the world best spirit top brands as wells as the best Cuba rums. Our bartenders are also fully trained and always happy to prepare a world class mojito or any other cocktail you want.

Buffet restaurant “La Veranda”

Offers an exquisite Cuban and international buffet and cooking show menu. It is also the restaurant where our Continental Breakfast is served.

Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Cafeteria “El Rincón del Cine”

Cabaret Parisien

Enjoy the unforgettable show “Habana de Fiesta” at the famous Parisien Cabaret, with lots of music, dance, atmosphere and colors.  A very fun way to learn more about Cuba’s history, culture and its people through music.

Hours: 9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. (Saturday through Tuesday)
Show starts at 10:00 p.m. Stay after the show and dance with some of the stars of the show.

Habanos Lounge

The Hotel Nacional de Cuba cigar selection allows you to explore and enjoy different flavors, sizes and strengths from the best cigar brands in Cuba.

Swimming Pools

Hotel Nacional de Cuba was the first hotel in Havana to feature a swimming pool, a true symbol of modern luxury when the hotel opened in 1930. From its earliest days, the pool became a social and cultural gathering place, welcoming world-renowned figures of the 1930s such as Winston Churchill, Ernest Hemingway, Jean Harlow, Marlene Dietrich, Johnny Weissmüller (Tarzan) and other iconic personalities from the worlds of politics, cinema, music, and literature who contributed to the hotel’s legendary status.

Historic Swimming Pool

The historic main swimming pool, located in the hotel’s gardens, preserves the elegance and charm of its original design while offering generous space for relaxation and leisure. Surrounded by lush greenery and sun terraces, it provides a serene atmosphere ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the views. Its setting reflects the hotel’s heritage character and continues to be one of the most photographed and enjoyed areas of the property. This swimming pool was completely renovated and officially re-opened in 2025, combining its historic character with enhanced comfort and modern amenities. The historic swimming pool is reserved exclusively for guests staying on our Executive Floor

Main Swimming Pool

The second swimming pool, which officially opened in 1992 as part of the hotel’s grand reopening, offers a distinctly different experience. Designed as a spacious, modern free-form pool, it was created to accommodate a larger number of guests and features a wide pool deck, generous sun-lounging areas, and a dedicated children’s section. Set within the lush gardens between the main building of the Hotel Nacional de Cuba and the Malecón, its location allows guests to enjoy open sea views while swimming. With its lively, resort-style atmosphere, this pool serves as the hotel’s outdoor social hub and is frequently the setting for aquatic ballet performances, synchronized swimming shows, and live music, creating a vibrant contrast to the intimate, historic ambiance of the original garden pool.
